This is different and delicious!  Slightly sweet, earthy and savory recipe with a kick of red pepper and bacon make a perfect pasta dish!

Spaghetti And Sprouts

1 Pound(s) Spaghetti

4 Slices of Bacon

1 Pound(s) Bag Frozen Brussels Sprouts

1/2 Teaspoon] Cinnamon

1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg

1/2 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes

1 Shallot-Sliced

3 Cloves of Garlic-Sliced

1/2 tsp. Salt

1/2 tsp. Pepper

1/3 Cup Olive Oil

1/2 Lemon

In large pot with boiling salted water, cook spaghetti according to package directions.

Meanwhile; in large skillet fry bacon until crisp, drain on a paper towel and set aside. In the remaining bacon fat, place thawed out Brussels sprouts on medium heat, sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg. Fry until sprouts are slightly caramelized. Add in red pepper flakes, shallot, garlic, salt and pepper. Cook until shallots are tender.

Take cooked spaghetti and place it in skillet, along with the reserved bacon. Drizzle in olive oil, mix together to coat, use more oil if needed.  Finish with the juice of half a lemon, Toss.  Serve.  Enjoy<3
