Garlic Fries

A visit to Yankee Stadium will always be about garlic fries for me now.   “Food Occasions”, I call them.  When something is so good you will never forget it! A good meal can make an evening, day, even a weekend memorable.  Memories and food go hand and hand. Amazing that a simple french fry could create memories and boy, it did in a big way for me!

So, when I think of Yankee Stadium, I will think of my sister and brother in law, because they invited us to my first visit to the stadium and we had so much fun together!   Plus my sister introduced to me GARLIC FRIES…. So good! I had to come home and try to duplicate the recipe and share it with you, so you can make these for your friends and family and they will think of you.  Enjoy<3

Garlic Fries

Small Drizzle Olive Oil

6 Cloves Garlic- Diced

1 Tablespoon Dried Parsley

1/4 Teaspoon Salt – or to taste

1 Pound of Frozen French Fries

In a small fry pan, saute on low heat chopped garlic and parsley for about 2 minutes.  You want to cook the garlic, but do not want it to be brown.  Take garlic mixture, place in a bowl add in salt and mix.

Cook french fries any method you choose according to package directions.  I deep fried mine.  Drain on paper towel.  Salt fries slightly, then mix fries into garlic mixture.  Place in serving dish.  Enjoy!
