Keeping with our BBQ side dishes this week…. I have had a thing for crasians recently and mixing opposite flavors like heat and sweet – salty and sweet – sweet and sour….  Here is a pasta salad I just love…

Sweet and Salty Pasta Salad

  • 1 Pound Mini Penne Pasta
  • 15.5 Ounce Can Chick Peas – Drained
  • 1 Cup Dried Cranberries
  • 2 Ounces Crumbled Feta
  • 1/2 Cup Crushed Walnuts
  • Small Bunch Fresh Chive – Diced
  • Blasamic Vinegar Dressing – Your Favorite

In large pot with salted bowling water, cook pasta according to package directions.  Drain and place pasta in large serving bowl.  Add in chick peas, dried cranberries, feta, walnuts and diced fresh chives.  Drizzle in desired amount of dressing and mix together.  Refrigerate until cold.

Once the pasta salad is cold, taste pasta and add more dressing if needed.  Serve.  Enjoy<3
