Grilled Pork Tenderloin Chops W/ Plum Sauce

So little time left of grilling season, and tired of the usual summer grilling recipes. I came up with a recipe that’s perfect for mid season. This recipe has the colors of autumn with the comfort of cooler weather and still using the grill, because that grill taste never gets tiring, no matter which season it is.

Grilled Pork Tenderloin Chops W/ Plum Sauce

2 pound(s) of Pork Tenderloin
4 Plums
1 cup(s) of Plum Jam
1 tsp. of Dried Rosemary
1/2 Teaspoon Thyme
1 Clove Garlic- Minced

Take pork tenderloin, with cooking twine; tie the tender loin together about an inch apart using 4 ties down along the pork loin then cut the pork into chops having the twine tied in the middle of each chop. Salt and pepper each chop to taste. On a well greased, hot grill, cook chops on each side for about ten minutes or until cooked through, but not over done.

(  I used an indoor grill for this picture as it was raining this day, much tastier on an outdoor grill)
Meanwhile; slice plums into small chunks and set them into a sauce pot on medium, low heat with plum jam, rosemary thyme and garlic. (You can substitute plum jam with currant, apricot, or your favorite jam) Cook sauce for about 10- 15 minutes or until plums are soft.
Take pork tenderloin chops off grill, place on serving platter, drizzle with desired amount of sauce and serve. Enjoy!
