I came up with Caprese bites, on my late Father -in -laws 80th Birthday.  I wanted the Caprese to be easier to eat for a big crowd.  I know I didn’t reinvent the wheel here, just made a old favorite, party friendly!  I serve it at every party now and it’s one of the first appetizer to be gone.

Caprese Bites

16-20 Tooth picks

1 Pint Grape Tomatoes

1-16 oz Mozzarella Pearls

Bunch Fresh basil leaves

Dressing:

1/3 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

1/4 Teaspoon Onion Powder

1/4 Teaspoon Dried Basil

1/4 Teaspoon Dried Oregano

Salt and Pepper to taste

Spear mozzarella first then basil leaf and last the tomato.  Spear the remaining ingredients  the same way.  Set the tomatoes on serving plate, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle herbs and spices over the top and serve.  Enjoy<3
