If you want a tender pork chop, cut a pork roast into chops yourself. That’s the number one trick! The other trick for a moist and tender chop is not to overcook it! Top that chop with hot honey mustard and you have made, a restaurant quality dinner, right at home. Believe it or not it’s an “Easy Button Recipe” too!
Tender Pork W/ Hot Honey Mustard
1 Pork Roast
Salt and Pepper to taste
Drizzle Olive Oil
¼ Cup White Wine
1 1/2 Tablespoon Spicy Brown Mustard
3 Tablespoons Honey
1 Tablespoon Horseradish
3 Dashes Hot Sauce
¼ Cup Cream
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Preheat oven to 350 Degrees.
Take pork roast and cut into 1 inch thick chops. Season both side of chop with salt and pepper. In oven safe skillet, heat skillet up until very hot and cook chops for a couple of minutes on each side. Do not move chops around while frying so they can get a nice sear and brown color. Place skillet in oven and finish cooking chops in oven for 15-20 minutes or until chops reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees. Take out of oven and transfer to a plate to let rest for ten minutes.
Meanwhile; in the skillet used to cook pork chops, return pan to the stove and on low heat, add wine, mustard, honey, horseradish and hot sauce, whisk together and let cook until slightly thickened and reduced. Pour in cream and season sauce with salt and pepper to taste, mix to combine. Pour sauce over chops and serve. Enjoy<3
