Sweetheart Ice Cream Cake
1 Loaf Pan
1.5 Quart Vanilla Ice Cream
1.5 Quart Chocolate Ice Cream
1.5 Quart Strawberry Ice Cream
Let chocolate and vanilla ice cream soften slightly. On two separate plastic wrap lined cookie sheets, one for vanilla and one for chocolate, flatten ice cream onto cookie sheet, cover with plastic wrap and refreeze.
In loaf pan, lined with plastic wrap, press vanilla ice cream onto bottom of pan and freeze.
With heart shaped cookie cutter, ( making sure cutter is small enough to fit into loaf pan and be surrounded by vanilla ice cream) cut out chocolate ice cream hearts and set on cookie sheet and refreeze. With a smaller heart cookie cutter, cut out strawberry hearts and refreeze. When chocolate hearts are frozen, cut with the smaller heart shaped cookie cutter, and place in strawberry heart into heart hole of chocolate. Stack all hearts together and refreeze. Stacking hearts long enough to fit your loaf pan, leaving room on ends.
When the whole heart is frozen place into loaf pan upside down and surround with vanilla ice cream, cover with plastic wrap and freeze (overnight). When frozen, invert onto a serving plate and sprinkle top with festive sprinkles. Cut into slices and serve. Enjoy<3
*Use cheap ice cream so it freezes well. Feel the ice cream to make sure it is frozen hard before buying. A creamy ice cream will not freeze hard enough to be able to handle.
